2013年5月に行われた、日本では16年振りの坂本龍一のフル・オーケストラとの共演となる

ホール (大ホール)、10日:東京芸術劇場 コンサートホールで行われた今回の公演からベスト・
トラックをチョイス。
アルバム「out of noise」(2009年)に収録された「still life」のオーケストラ・ヴァージョン
「Still Life - orchestra version」から、YMO 2ndアルバム 「Solid State Survivor」(1979年)
に収録され、当時オーケストラをイメージして作り、今回オーケストラでの初演奏となる「Castalia」、
そして「Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence (戦場のメリークリスマス)」、「The Last Emperor」、
「The Sheltering Sky」などの映画音楽からの楽曲まで、新たにオーケストラ用に編曲された数々の
名曲を収録。坂本龍一のピアノとフル・オーケストラで広がる多彩な音世界を満喫できるアルバムです。
